It is our nature as humans to believe what little knowledge we have makes us superior to others. We also have the capacity to hurt things we cannot understand, to the extent of breeding and killing majestic animals to make luxury items for the vain. Armed with this knowledge, I chose to depict myself as one of those majestic animals; the crocodile, to highlight how we wield dual natures as creatures who possess such insight and intelligence but also justify barbaric cruelty in the name of that very intelligence as superiority.
