Rabbya Naseer and Hurmat Ul Ain are the first artist duo from Pakistan; they have been working collaboratively since 2007. Their collaborative practice brands a rather playful feminism that resides in between fact and fiction. The mundane reconstructions in their work signal the conditions of their immediate lives and the world around them. Negotiating the space in between performative gestures and object making, their interdisciplinary practice borrows from everyday encounters, objects and rituals.
