My works are inspired by everyday urban life; people, objects and spaces. I paint things in our environment that affect us but often go unnoticed. I like to paint things with depth and history, an individual object or some specific light that can take you back in time. Everything is connected this way.
In current times when people are taking hundreds of pictures of themselves I am getting away from my physical self and trying to dig inwards. The best selfie for me is when I’m looking into a mirror and observing details, the scars of my face and the dark circles around my eyes, reading each and every line that appears on my skin.
